What makes our mind change the way we act?

Like lets say I kept on saying to myself, %26quot;I'm going to be more responsible%26quot; or %26quot;I'm going to be more confident to...%26quot; or something like that work? I never tried it but sometimes I think it works...

What makes that work? Is it true or a myth?
What makes our mind change the way we act?
It does work. I think it creates kind of a 'blue print' for your mind, and it follows it. Like saying %26quot;don't be irresponsible%26quot; is different, because it's telling your brain what not to do, and it doesn't know where to go from there.
What makes our mind change the way we act?
Your thoughts become your feelings. Your feelings turn into actions. If you think that you're responsible, then you will be!
