Well under the old covenant God forbids eating lobster and swine, but then in the new covenant He allows eating lobster and swine.
See how easy it is for God to change His mind? You can't say it's impossible for God to free everyone from hell eventually, because God has no limitations.
Even if God said hell's eternal, there's nothing to stop Him changing his mind later, is there?
The change is from physical to spiritual which means the physical or fleshy things are not important any more to God because God is a spirit and those who worship God must worship in spirit and in truth.
The bible states that the physical life is of on use but the spiritual life is important.
The word of God was taken or commanded for prosperity in fleshy things in the old testament and in the new testament the siritual things which is eternal.

God always knew what he was going to do. God also knew what he needed to do to cause humanity to do what he wanted them to do. God threatened nineveh with destruction, knowing that it would cause nineveh to repent. God threatened israel with destruction, knowing that moses would intercede. God does not regret his decisions, but is saddened by some of what humanity does in response to his decisions. God does not change his mind, but rather acts consistently to his word in response to our actions.

I don't believe that God ever said you can eat the unclean animals. That verse is in reference to a dream Peter had And it was interpreted to mean that Peter could preach the gospel to the Gentiles. You won't go to hell for eating unclean animals. That law is for your health and saftey. Those animals are the garbage eaters. And the reason God will not change His mind about hell is because God is Just. Justice is the reason. The only sin that can take a person to hell is Rejection of the Atonement which is the shed blood of Jesus, it is a free gift. For by grace( the unmerited gift of God) are you saved through Faith, and that (faith) not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast.
Normally people with furry feet that you must be aware of. I notice they are fickle and change their mind in a moment. It is easy to spot on Lady's as their feet usually can be seen but not with people with shoes on. It is a tell tale sign which you must take notice just like palm reading which can be accurate of reading a person character. I cannot be so sure if it applies to man but with ladies in Oregon ( of course in America ) I have been very accurate. The latest I saw one while she was with her Boyfriend ( I think) fishing was on spot of Her changing mind that droves her boyfriend mad.
It is true that God has forbidden things from the Jews then allowed it ..but what is true also that God doesn't change His promise and His words .. all what I know that He is merciful ..and His mercy precedes His anger .. let's wait and see .. but for the moment we don't have to worry because we really don't know much at all .. If we ever make it to heaven we will not feel sorry for those who are in hell and we will not see them tortured and we will be just happy and content with our Lord.
The Creator of All Things can change His mind whenever He Wills it. However, His Laws are eternal and will never change.
The eating of swine is forbidden for all followers of the Creator of All Things and especially to the Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Paul made the eating of swine legal but one should look at the reason. At that time there was a great famine within the land and there was very little to eat. When this occures, then Jews, Christians and Muslims are allowed to eat that which is unlawful but to only eat as much as to sustain the body and not to over indulge. The repeal of this law at this time was never taken, so Christians have thought that it has remained their right to eat the unlawful and its all down to Paul.
Check again what is unlawful to eat as refered to within Judaism and Islam, then see what the Christians have altered for their own pleasure. For what they do is not for the pleasure of their Creator or His worship.
