Question for independents/moderates: How is it you change your mind so very very often?

I just don't get it. Who are these people who change their minds every few days? The polls for a lot of these candidates just varied widely all throughout the campaign; who are these people who keep changing their mind? %26quot;I'm for Owens, no, I'm for Hoffman, no, Owens, no Hoffman, Owens, Hoffman, Owens, Hoffman%26quot;

Some independents join a party, and some people leave parties to become independent. It isn't a static group of people.

It's the American way. My way or the highway. Not some peons kissing their political party's butt!
I do not change my mind like you seem to think and those that are Independent like me do not either.

We look at the issues and who is running for the different offices and decide on who we are going to vote for.

As to those you are saying that they are voting for this one then that one have no idea what is going on and are wishy washy. Not something that is good.
Being a moderate means that you aren't locked into an ideological cage. We can vote for different candidates based on their views, crossing party lines.

since you seem to be referring to the NY-23 election, perhaps a reference to moderates changing their mind repeatedly would help?
most people are moderate. they outnumber staunch conservatives and liberals together by 2 to 1.
