Is there a difference between having regret and changing your mind?

When I asked if God can regret, I get the answer that there are parts in the bible where he regrets.

When I ask if God could potentially have changed his mind in the 2000 years since we last heard from him, I get the answer that God never changes his mind.

So what is the difference between regret and changing your mind?
Is there a difference between having regret and changing your mind?
If this god of yours can regret. Then he could change his mind. However, this god is mindless. Changing it is moot.

Regret can change a mind.

A change of mind may result in regret.

A change of mind may result in a good feeling

Regret is not a good feeling.
Is there a difference between having regret and changing your mind?
GOD knows all so he doesnot regret. Everything is in GOD's plan for He knows all. We regret when circumstances tell us we should not have....... Too late.
I do not think that Jesus is going to return and say, JUST KIDDING! You seem to forget that God does regret some things, and he has relented on punishment when we have called to him. God is a caring, forgiving God. As far as changing his mind, nah, that is different than regretting, because regret is past tense, changing mind is present. They are different.
