Since you are already employed in your first area of study, I suggest you go for psychology part-time. Whether you end up using it directly or not, it's a) another degree, and b) an interesting area of knowledge ultimately applicable to almost any field.

What about doing a combined degree?
actually its great that you are thinking of more than one career because it will help you decide which one will be best ( even if it is aggravating right now) Sit down and make a list of the pros and cons of each and picture yourself doing each job. which one makes you smile? does one make you feel more anxious than the others? picture yourself older and at the same job, see if you think it will bring you farther along.
Computers vs. Psychology, any of them could be possible a hobby? Plus, whatever you choose you have to keep in mind that you're most likely going to spend the rest of your life doing the alternative that you picked.

Additionally, try to assess the current market for both, in terms of employment and the pay. (Thats incase you like both of them equally).
Draw up a list of all your career options and choices and then eliminate those which you dislike the most based upon the subject at which you are best able to do.

If you are good at art, go there. Like wise any other subject. Aim high and win.

Good luck.

and remember, when you get to my age 70, you are only old once and it's too late. I regret nothing in my life and neither will you.

Do what you love. Only you know that answer.
I have been doing exactly the same thing! I'm 26 and when i was younger i was too ill to go to uni. Since Jan 09 I've wanted to go back to uni to study. I've probably thought of 3 or 4 degrees i wanted to do but then i settled on psychology.

I've been settled on this since November and know its the right thing for me ( well as much as i can).

I have literally picked holes in every degree, gone through pro's %26amp; con's - i.e what kinda of lifestyle i want, hours, stress levels, what suits me as a person, will the degree provide me with the career change i want or will i end up in a huge amount of debt in a similar role etc

I've also gone to the library and read course text books - ask a uni which they use. This really helped as you can see if it really will interest you.

For me i cant attend uni straight away, it will be next year, so i am currently trying to get work experience in the field.

I really good site to compare jobs and see what qualifications you need is http://www.prospects.ac.uk/cms/ShowPage/鈥?/a> if you're not in the UK, it still works and could provide a bit of info.

Anyway i hope this helps, i know your pain!
